EVERYONE BUT ME
conversation with my wedding dress maker over cellphone:
me: hi. ok na ba pick-up yung damit bukas?
hilda: ay wala ako. pwede next week na lang pagbalik ko?
me: asan ka ba ngayon?
hilda: boracay
and i was ready to throw my cellphone on the LRT railway tracks.
a few weeks ago i was texting this potential caterer for a meeting:
me: when can we meet?
caterer: pwede next week na lang kasi i'm still in boracay?
last week i was texting my younger sister:
me: sabay ka ba sa min umuwi ng LB? may car kami.
sister: nyii. nasa boracay ako.
me: potah ka. di pa ko nakakarating dyan!
EVERYBODY has been or are now in boracay! aaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhh! been to singapore, shanghai and i'm scheduled go to HK but i've never been to that freaking place.
i'm raring to go to any beach right now, especially now that my body and brain are in knots because i received orders from the owner of our company to do this special report for the monday and tuesday issues. on top of my regular beat that's already been driving me crazy this past week.
everybody is having fun right now. even the people in the beat i temporarily covered are in bohol and cebu right now for an r&r coverage (if there's such a thing).
