i closed tomorrow’s issue today. on a sunday. the end of my virtual vacation.

i say ‘virtual’ because i really did not take a vacation. even during the christmas (dec. 24 and 25) and new year’s break (dec. 31 and jan 1), i was still on-call. i worked on rizal day. went home at 10 pm, [...]

happy new year!

i’m not really into new year’s resolutions but what the hell, i really must do these things this year:

1. finish my thesis. by sunday, i should be transcribing all the interviews i did for my data gathering and submit these to my adviser by next week.

it may probably be moot but it has to be discussed. and clear once and for all that what happened in mindanao is beyond the bounds of the constitution that the gremlin in chief desperately wants to destroy.

i wish i could just run and hide and return when [...]

taken at powerbooks, greenbelt 3 using my ancient nokia 6120

QUE AGA-AGA

nangangampanya na agad, namemerwisyo ng ibang tao.

last week, i got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour in pasig on my way to the office. and just as i suspected, there was a political parade choking a major thoroughfare (raymundo ave.). mayor bobby eusebio’s hakot crowd nearly drove me mad. it was a campaign [...]

i cannot express how much i really regretted reading that book—make that two books. i wonder if stephanie meyer even had an editor.

this blog entry about the twilight series really cracked me up. more fun to read than any of those books.
